Well I am not that stupid.. I have tried this of course but I was not able to even tap it. Nevertheless I finally found the solution using the object selection menu and taping the Barcode item so problem solved thank you.

You can try to do that using VBA script. I managed to do that by myself. You just need to know the text structure of QR code and then to write a macro to translate the data into the correct text string. Or simply create the text string using the CONCATENATE function and then use the VBA code from this site. Instead of msgbox you just need to use the created text string.

Hello, John,
With feature, you can just insert the QR codes into the worksheet. You can save the worksheet as PDF file as you need.
Do you want to save each QR code to one pdf file? or save the worksheet with generated QR codes as a PDF file?

we have fed back your suggestion to the developer. If it can be upgraded, we will contact you at the first time.

I'm not sure if a 2d code is the same as a QR code, but does the cell with the information have to be a website, or can it be just numbers? I need to create 2d codes that correspond to the sequential numbers because our inserting machine can read the 2d code better than just a printed number.
